American Dream Homes Property Management Creative Video Scholarship

Applicant Eligibility Requirements

• This scholarship contest is open to all high school seniors or college students that are legal residents of the U.S.
• This American Dream Homes scholarship is only payable to the winner that will be living in the U.S. at time of award
• Student must be enrolled in either a 2 year or 4 year college in the Fall 2018 semester
• The winner of this scholarship will not be based on financial need or merit*
• Employees and/or relatives of MyAmericanDreamHomes.com staff are not eligible to enter
• This scholarship is open to home-schooled students as long as your course of study is equivalent to or higher than high school senior level
• Applicants to this scholarship are required to create and submit a video (maximum length of no more than 60 seconds).  Please see the “Video Requirements" tab for requirements.
• American Dream Homes reserves the right to verify your graduation date and/or college enrollment.

• Applicants may submit entries from 12:00 a.m. EST on February 1, 2018 through 11:59 p.. EST on August 31, 2018. Winner will be announced on or before September 30th, 2018.

• Applicant must first create a video by following "Video Requirements" instructions.
• After video is completed, student must submit link to the video created with the application form below.

1. Post a video creatively responding to the following prompt:
   • What does “American Dream Home” mean to you? Express your answer in a creative video.
2. Video must be a maximum of one (1) minute in length. (No more than 60 seconds)
3. Video must be uploaded to YouTube.
4. Your YouTube video must include the following in the description box:
   • a link to https://www.myamericandreamhomes.com
   • the hashtag #ADHScholarship
5. You must submit the link to your YouTube video with your application.
6. Videos must be original and not taken from any other sources.
7. Be submitted in one the formats that YouTube accepts. Any other formats submitted and/or exceeding the time limit will be disqualified.
8. Comply with YouTube terms of service and specifications for user submissions and/or video uploads, as posted on the YouTube website.
9. After you complete your video, you must submit your video link with the application below.

Awards

One (1) winning applicant will receive a $1,000 scholarship. Award money is to be applied to cover winners educational expenses in the field or major of their choosing. The receipt of this award by the winner is subject to the following conditions: All monetary awards must be applied to cover winner’s college, university or vocational school tuition and education-related expenses, such as room and board or books and supplies. Under no circumstances should monies awarded to winners be used toward non-educational expenses. No purchase necessary to enter or win.  A staff member of the MyAmericanDreamHomes.com team will email you to confirm details and work with your school to deposit the funds into your account.

Selection of Winners

One (1) winner will be selected from among the applicants, notified and announced on or before September 30th, 2018. The odds of winning depend on the total number of qualified entries.  A qualified entry is an entry that follows all the rules listed.  The scholarship will not be based on financial need or merit.  Winner will be chosen based on the creativity of the video, originality of the video, and whether or not applicant has followed all the requirements of the video entry.  The selection process will be subjective.  We will pick our favorite winner based on the following point system.

MyAmericanDreamHomes.com reserves the right to terminate this promotion without notice as deemed appropriate to MyAmericanDreamHomes.com. Notwithstanding said termination, the scholarships will be awarded as set forth in these Official Rules.
